Tension erupted in Paralakhemundi, Gajapati district, over the alleged transportation of cattle. Locals and members of Hindu organisations intercepted a Haryana-registered van near College Chhak after receiving information that several cattle were being transported from Rajasthan through Paralakhemundi to Manjusa in Andhra Pradesh.
