ବାଲେଶ୍ୱରର ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟନ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଚାନ୍ଦିପୁର ବେଳାଭୂମି। ବିଶ୍ୱରେ ଅନନ୍ୟ ବେଳାଭୂମି ଭାବେ ଏହା ସ୍ଥାନ ପାଇଛି। ଯେଉଁଠି ଜୁଆର ସମୟରେ କୂଳକୁ ପାଣି ଆସେ ଆଉ ଭଟା ହେଲେ କୂଳରୁ ୫ କିମି ଦୂରରେ ପାଣି ରୁହେ। ଏହି ଦୃଶ୍ୟକୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ତଥା ରାଜ୍ୟ ବାହାରୁ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକଙ୍କ ଭିଡ଼ ଜମିଥାଏ । ହେଲେ ଦୁଃଖର ବିଷୟ । ଯେଉଁ ବେଳାଭୁମି ଦିନେ ସୁନାମ ଅର୍ଜନ କରି ସ୍ୱର୍ଣ୍ଣ ବେଳାଭୂମିର ନାଁ ପାଇଥିଲା ତାହା ଅଳିଆ ଆବର୍ଜନାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଛି । ଯୁଆଡେ ଦେଖିବେ ସିଆଡେ କୁଢକୁଢ ଅଳିଆ । କେଉଁଠି ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇ ଠୋଲା ଫୋପଡ଼ା ଯାଇଛି ତ’ ଆଉ କେଉଁଠି ନାନା ପ୍ରକାରର ପଲିଥିନ୍ ପଡିଛି ।

Chandipur Beach in Balasore is one of Odisha’s famous tourist destinations, known for its unique tidal phenomenon. During high tide, seawater reaches the shore, while during low tide, the water recedes nearly 5 km from the coast, attracting tourists from Odisha and outside the state. However, the beach that once earned fame as the ‘Golden Beach’ is now reportedly covered with garbage and waste. Heaps of garbage can be seen at several places, including discarded food containers and various types of polythene, raising concerns over the cleanliness and upkeep of this popular tourist destination.
