CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka have been released from jail after seven days in custody. A Special Executive Magistrate Court in Delhi ordered their release. They had been in judicial custody since October 14 over allegations that they entered Jantar Mantar and hoisted the national flag, despite the site reportedly having been removed from the list of designated protest venues. After coming out of jail, Saurav Das said, “Truth has prevailed.”
