Rescue operations have been intensified in Ganjam district as the situation remains challenging amid continuous rainfall. Six affected people were airlifted by helicopter from Jagamohan Primary Health Centre (PHC) to Dharakote. Persistent rain had disrupted evacuation efforts in several areas. The government had completed its preparations, and officials had also coordinated with the Indian Navy and airport authorities to facilitate rescue and evacuation operations at certain locations.
