In view of the possible impact of Cyclone Arnab, the district administration has suspended motor launch services at Chitrakonda Reservoir. Strong winds and adverse weather conditions during the cyclone could make water transport dangerous, prompting the authorities to prioritise passenger safety. The suspension may cause inconvenience to people who depend on motor launches for daily activities, essential needs and medical services. A decision on resuming the services will be taken after weather conditions improve.
