Cyclone Arnab: Landfall Process to Begin in 2 Hours, Heavy Rain Alert for South Odisha

ଆନ୍ଧ୍ରପ୍ରଦେଶ ଉପକୂଳରେ ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡଫଲ୍ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା ଜାରି ରହିଛି । ଆସନ୍ତା ଦୁଇ ଘଣ୍ଟାରେ ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡଫଲ୍ ପ୍ରକିୟା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ । ସ୍ଥଳଭାଗ ଛୁଇଁ ଅଟକି ରହିଛି ଅତି ଭୀଷଣ ବାତ୍ୟା ‘ଅର୍ଣ୍ଣବ’ । ଏହା ପ୍ରଭାବରେ ଆଜି ଦକ୍ଷିଣ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ୬୦ରୁ ୭୦ କିମି ବେଗରେ ପବନ ବହିବ ଓ ଅତି ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ହେବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ଆଞ୍ଚଳିକ ପାଣିପାଗ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶିକା ମନୋରମା ମହାନ୍ତି।
The landfall process of extremely severe Cyclone Arnab is expected to begin along the Andhra Pradesh coast within the next two hours. The cyclone remains nearly stationary after reaching the coast. According to Regional Meteorological Centre Director Manorama Mohanty, South Odisha is likely to experience very heavy rainfall and strong winds reaching speeds of 60–70 kmph today due to the cyclone's impact.
