A deep depression approaching the Odisha coast has triggered continuous heavy rain across southern districts. Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput and Kalahandi are among the affected areas, with reports of damaged houses, landslides and disruption to road connectivity. The Mohana-Digapahandi route has been affected by falling rocks, while Kalinga Ghati has been closed as a precaution. Several urban markets have also been affected by rain and waterlogging.
