Depression Forms Over Bay of Bengal! 310 Km From Puri Coast

ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେଲା ଅବପାତ। ପଶ୍ଚିମ-କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଓ ସଂଲଗ୍ନ ଉତ୍ତର-ପଶ୍ଚିମ ବଙ୍ଗୋପସାଗରରେ ଅବପାତ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହୋଇଛି। ଏହି ଅବପାତ ପୁରୀରୁ ପ୍ରାୟ ୩୧୦ କିଲୋମିଟର ଦକ୍ଷିଣ-ପୂର୍ବରେ ରହିଛି। ଏହା ଗୋପାଳପୁରରୁ ୩୧୦ କି.ମି ପୂର୍ବ-ଦକ୍ଷିଣ-ପୂର୍ବ, କଳିଙ୍ଗପଟନମରୁ ୩୯୦ କି.ମି ପୂର୍ବ-ଦକ୍ଷିଣ-ପୂର୍ବ ଏବଂ ବିଶାଖାପଟନମରୁ ୪୭୦ କି.ମି ପୂର୍ବ ଦିଗରେ ରହିଛି।

A depression has formed over the westcentral and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal, according to the India Meteorological Department. The system is currently located around 310 km southeast of Puri, 310 km east-southeast of Gopalpur, 390 km east-southeast of Kalingapatnam and 470 km east of Visakhapatnam. The depression is expected to move west-northwestwards and intensify further over the next 24 hours. IMD has also forecast heavy to very heavy rainfall over parts of South Odisha as the system moves towards the coast.
