Fire Service Boat Capsizes While Going to Rescue Pregnant Woman in Ganjam

ଗର୍ଭବତୀଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇଁ ଯିବା ବେଳେ ନଦୀରେ ଓଲଟିଲା ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବୋଟ। ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଭଞ୍ଜନଗର ବ୍ଲକ ବାଇବାଲି ପଞ୍ଚାୟତର ଉପାନ୍ତ ତଡମା ଗାଁରେ ଗର୍ଭବତୀ ମହିଳାଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ପାଇଁ ଯାଇଥିବା ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀର ବୋଟ ପ୍ରଖର ନଦୀ ସ୍ରୋତରେ ଓଲଟି ପଡ଼ିଛି। ଭଞ୍ଜନଗର ଓ ବେଲଗୁଣ୍ଠା ଅଗ୍ନିଶମ ବାହିନୀ ସହ ପ୍ରଶାସନିକ ଟିମ୍ ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଥିଲେ। ତେବେ ବୋଟ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା ଯୋଗୁଁ ମହିଳାଙ୍କୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କରାଯାଇପାରିନଥିଲା।

A Fire Service boat capsized in strong river currents while heading to rescue a pregnant woman in Tadama village under Baibali panchayat of Bhanjanagar block in Ganjam district. Teams from Bhanjanagar and Belaguntha Fire Services, along with the administration, reached the spot, but the woman could not be rescued due to the boat accident. Meanwhile, Arati Gaud gave birth to a baby girl in a village across the river. All Fire Service personnel on board were safely rescued.
