Five cheetah cubs have been born at Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh, marking another significant development in India’s cheetah conservation programme. A female cheetah born in India has given birth to five healthy cubs at the park. Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav shared the news on social media. After Mukhi and KGP12, KJP21 is the third female cheetah born in India to give birth to cubs. The birth of the five cubs is being seen as an important step towards the growth of the next generation of cheetahs in India. Following the births, the cheetah population in India has reached 60, including 41 cheetahs born in the country.
