Flood Fear Grips Balasore as Budhabalanga Waters Enter City

ବାଲେଶ୍ବରରେ କମୁନି ବର୍ଷାର ତାଣ୍ଡବ। ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷାରୁ କମୁନି ବୁଢ଼ାବଳଙ୍ଗ ନଦୀର ଜଳସ୍ତର। ବିପଦ ସଙ୍କେତ ଉପରେ ଏବେ ବି ଜଳକା ପ୍ରବାହିତ। ବୁଢ଼ାବଳଙ୍ଗର ପାଣି ଏବେ ବାଲେଶ୍ବର ସହର ଭିତରକୁ ପଶିଛି। ବାଲେଶ୍ବର ସହରର ୧୨ ନମ୍ବର ଓ୍ୱାର୍ଡରେ ଏବେ ୨ ଫୁଟର ପାଣି। ଅନେକ ଲୋକ ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ ହୋଇ ରହିଛନ୍ତି।

The flood situation in Balasore continues to cause concern as heavy rain persists and the water level of the Budhabalanga River remains high. The Jalaka River is also flowing above the danger mark. Floodwaters from the Budhabalanga have entered Balasore city, with around two feet of water reported in Ward No. 12. Several residents have been left marooned as the rising water continues to disrupt normal life and heighten fear among people in the affected areas.
