A dispute over fly ash transportation led to a clash between two organisations and a deadly firing incident at Darlipali under Bhasma police station limits in Sundargarh district. One person, identified as Silu Neti, lost his life in the incident. The dispute reportedly originated over the transportation of fly ash generated from the thermal power project at Darlipali. Silu sustained critical bullet injuries and was rushed to Sundargarh Government Medical College and Hospital. However, he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
