Forest Guard Found Dead at Range Office Quarters in Balangir

ରେଞ୍ଜ ଅଫିସ କ୍ୱାର୍ଟର୍ସରେ ଫରେଷ୍ଟରଙ୍କ ଝୁଲନ୍ତା ମୃତଦେହ। ମୃତ ଫରେଷ୍ଟର ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ବ୍ୟାସଦେବ ସାହୁ। ସେ ବଲାଙ୍ଗିର ଠିକାଦାରପଡା ରେଞ୍ଜରେ ଫରେଷ୍ଟର ଭାବେ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରତ ଥିଲେ। ସନ୍ଧ୍ୟାରେ ରେଞ୍ଜ ଅଫିସ ପଛପଟେ ଥିବା ଷ୍ଟାଫ କ୍ୱାର୍ଟରର ରେଲିଂରେ ତାଙ୍କ ମୃତଦେହ ଝୁଲୁଥିବା ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ଥିବା କର୍ମଚାରୀମାନେ ଦେଖିଥିଲେ । ଘଟଣାସ୍ଥଳରେ ପୋଲିସ ପହଞ୍ଚି ତଦନ୍ତ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଛି । ତେବେ ବ୍ୟାସଦେବଙ୍କ ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପଛର କାରଣ କଣ ସେନେଇ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ ସୂଚନା ମିଳିପାରିନି । ସେ ନିଜେ ଜୀବନ ହାରିଛନ୍ତି ନା ମୃତ୍ୟୁ ପଛରେ ଆଉ କିଛି କାରଣ ଅଛି ତାକୁନେଇ ରହସ୍ୟ ଲାଗିରହିଛି। ଉପରିସ୍ଥ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କ ଚାପ ଯୋଗୁ ବ୍ୟାସଦେବ ଜୀବନ ହାରିଥିବା ପରିବାର ଲୋକେ ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ମୃତ୍ୟୁର ପ୍ରକୃତ କାରଣ ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆଣିବାକୁ ପରିବାର ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଦାବି କରାଯାଇଛି ।

Forest staffer Byasadev Sahu, who was working as a Forester at the Tikadarpara Range in Balangir, was found dead at the staff quarters behind the range office. Employees spotted his body in the evening, following which police reached the spot and began an investigation. The exact circumstances surrounding his death are yet to be established. His family has alleged that pressure from senior officials may have been involved and has demanded a probe to establish the actual cause of death.
