ପୂର୍ବତନ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ସାଂସଦ ସଜ୍ଜନ କୁମାରଙ୍କ ପରଲୋକ । ୧୯୮୪ ଶିଖ୍ ବିରୋଧୀ ଦଙ୍ଗା ମାମଲାରେ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ୟସ୍ତ ହୋଇ ଆଜୀବନ ଜେଲ୍ ଦଣ୍ଡ ଭୋଗୁଥିଲେ ସଜ୍ଜନ । ତିହାର ଜେଲ୍ ରେ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ସେ ଅସୁସ୍ଥ ହୋଇପଡ଼ିଥିଲେ । ଚିକିତ୍ସା ପାଇଁ ତାଙ୍କୁ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲ୍ ନିଆଯାଇଥିଲା । ହେଲେ ସେଠାରେ ଡାକ୍ତର ସଜ୍ଜନ କୁମାରଙ୍କୁ ମୃତ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି ।

Former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar has reportedly passed away after falling ill while lodged in Tihar Jail. According to the source, he was taken to a hospital for treatment after his health deteriorated, where doctors declared him dead. Sajjan Kumar was serving a life sentence after being convicted in a case related to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. His death comes while he was serving the sentence in jail. The report states that he was undergoing treatment at the hospital when doctors declared him dead.
