A major development has emerged in the RG Kar rape and murder case. Former Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Nirmal Ghosh has been arrested by Kolkata Police from a hotel near NH-16 in the Simulia area of Balasore district, Odisha. According to the report, the arrest is connected to allegations surrounding the hurried cremation of the victim's body. The case was registered at Khardah Police Station following a complaint filed by the victim's father.
