Fruit prices have surged with the beginning of the festive season. With Ganesh Puja tomorrow, Nuakhai the following day and Vishwakarma Puja two days later, demand for fruits has increased in the markets. As demand rises, prices of almost all varieties of fruits have also gone up by around Rs 10 to Rs 20 per kg. While customers are crowding markets to buy fruits for the upcoming festivals, the sharp rise in prices has added to their worries.
