Gajalaxmi Puja to Begin in Dhenkanal on October 25; Goddess Worshipped at 41 Mandaps

ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ୨୫ ତାରିଖରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହେବ ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳର ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ଗଜଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ପୂଜା । ଗଜଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀ ପୂଜା ପାଇଁ ଶେଷ ହୋଇଛି ମାଟି ଅନୁକୂଳ। ପୂଜା ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତିକୁ ନେଇ ଏବେ ଢେଙ୍କାନାଳ ସହର ବେଶ ଚଳଚଞ୍ଚଳ। ମିଳିତ ବଜାର କମିଟି ପକ୍ଷରୁ ନୂତନ ସଭାପତି ଚୟନ ପରେ ପୂଜାକୁ ଅଧିକ ଆକର୍ଷଣୀୟ କରିବାକୁ ଏବେ ଅଣ୍ଟା ଭିଡିଛନ୍ତି ୪୧ଟି ପୂଜା କମିଟି। ତେବେ ଅନୁକୁଳ ଶୁଭ ମାଟିକୁ ନେଇ ମା'ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଙ୍କ ନାଭି ମଣ୍ଡଳରେ ସ୍ଥାପନ କରାଯାଇ ମୃଣ୍ମୟୀ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ନିର୍ମାଣ କରାଯିବ । ୪୧ଟି ମଣ୍ଡପରେ ୧୦ଦିନ ଧରି ମା ଲକ୍ଷ୍ମୀଙ୍କ ଆରାଧନା ହେବ।

The famous Gajalaxmi Puja in Dhenkanal will begin on October 25, with preparations underway across the city. The traditional Mati Anukula ceremony for the festival has been completed, and 41 puja committees are gearing up to make the celebrations more attractive. The auspicious clay collected during the ceremony will be placed at the Nabhi Mandala of Goddess Laxmi before being used to make the clay idol. Goddess Laxmi will be worshipped for 10 days at 41 puja mandaps across Dhenkanal.
