The Alliance Seva Sangha at GGP Colony in Bhubaneswar has completed preparations for this year’s Ganesh Puja, featuring a 40-foot-tall, ten-armed idol of Lord Ganesha in the form of Goddess Durga. The idol has been crafted and given its final touches by specialised artisans from Kolkata after three months of work. The idol depicts Goddess Durga’s lion-mounted form, along with ten hands, the face and beautifully arranged accompanying deities. Grand worship will continue at the attractive puja mandap for a week. Keeping the expected gathering of devotees in mind, the committee and administration have made necessary security and other arrangements. Devotees are already showing excitement to witness this unique idol at GGP Colony in Bhubaneswar.
