ଗଞ୍ଜାମରେ ସରକାରୀ କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ଛୁଟି ବାତିଲ। ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ବର୍ଷାକୁ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ରଖି ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନ ନେଇଛି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି। ୨୫ ତାରିଖ ଯାଏ ଅଫିସର ମାନେ ସଦର ମହକୁମା ନ ଛାଡ଼ିବାକୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ଏଥିସହ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ବିଭାଗ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନିରନ୍ତର ସମନ୍ୱୟ ରଖି ପରିସ୍ଥିତି ଉପରେ ନଜର ରଖିବା ସହ ଯେକୌଣସି ପରିସ୍ଥିତିରେ ତୁରନ୍ତ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନେବାକୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱାରୋପ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ଭି. କୀର୍ତ୍ତି ଭାସନଙ୍କ ଅଧ୍ୟକ୍ଷତାରେ ଆଜି ଏକ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତି ବୈଠକ ହୋଇଛି। ସମ୍ଭାବ୍ୟ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା, ପବନ, ଜଳବନ୍ଦୀ ଓ ଭୂସ୍ଖଳନ ଭଳି ପରିସ୍ଥିତିର ମୁକାବିଲା ପାଇଁ ଉଦ୍ଧାରକାରୀ ଯନ୍ତ୍ରପାତି, ଔଷଧ, ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଓ ମାନବ ସମ୍ବଳ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ରଖିବାକୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି। ସମୁଦ୍ରକୁ ଯାଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ମତ୍ସ୍ୟଜୀବୀଙ୍କୁ ତୁରନ୍ତ କୂଳକୁ ଫେରିଆସିବା ପାଇଁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। ଏଥିସହ ବଜ୍ରପାତ ଓ ପ୍ରବଳ ବର୍ଷା ସମୟରେ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରହିବାକୁ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନ ପକ୍ଷରୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ପରାମର୍ଶ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି।

Ganjam district administration has cancelled leave for government employees in view of the possibility of heavy rain. The Collector has directed officers not to leave the district headquarters until September 25 and stressed continuous coordination among departments to monitor the situation and take immediate action when required. A preparedness meeting chaired by Collector V. Keerthi Vasan reviewed arrangements for possible heavy rain, strong winds, waterlogging and landslides, with instructions to keep rescue equipment, medicines, essential supplies and manpower ready. Fishermen who have gone to sea have been advised to return to the coast immediately, while people have been advised to stay in safe places during lightning and heavy rain.
