ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେର ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ହେବ ନା ପୂର୍ବ ଭଳି ସିଲେକ୍ସନ୍ ହେବ। ଏବେ ତାକୁ ନେଇ ଲାଗି ରହିଛି ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା l ପୂର୍ବରୁ ଗଙ୍ଗାଧର ମେହେର ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ସିଲେକ୍ସନ ହେଉଥିଲା | କିଛି ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦିଷ୍ଟ ଛାତ୍ରଛାତ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରତିନିଧି ବଛୁଥିଲେ | ୧୯୯୮ ମସିହାରେ ଶେଷଥର GMU ରେ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ହେଇଥିଲା | ସେବେଠାରୁ ସଭାପତି ଓ ଅନ୍ୟାନ୍ୟ ପଦ ପାଇଁ ସିଲେକ୍ସନ କରାଯାଉଛି | ଚଳିତ ବର୍ଷ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେହି ଧାରାରେ ରହିବ ନାଁ ନିର୍ବାଚନ ହେବ ତାକୁ ନେଇ ଚର୍ଚ୍ଚା।
A debate is underway at Gangadhar Meher University (GMU) in Sambalpur over whether student representatives will be elected this year or selected as in previous years.
GM University last held student elections in 1998. Since then, representatives for the president and other posts have been chosen through a selection process involving designated student representatives.
