Hirakud Dam Opens 3 More Gates as Reservoir Water Level Rises

ଲଗାଣ ବର୍ଷାରେ ବଢୁଛି ହୀରାକୁଦ ଜଳଭଣ୍ଡାର ଜଳସ୍ତର। ଖୋଲିଲା ଡ୍ୟାମର ଆଉ ୩ଟି ଗେଟ୍। ପୂର୍ବରୁ ୭ଟି ଗେଟ୍ ଖୋଲାଥିଲା। ଜଳସ୍ତର ବଢୁଥିବାରୁ ଆଜି ଆଉ ୩ଟି ଖୋଲିଛି। ଏବେ ମୋଟ ୧୦ଟି ଗେଟ୍ ଦେଇ ନିଷ୍କାସନ ହେଉଛି ବନ୍ୟା ଜଳ। ବାମପାର୍ଶ୍ୱର ୭ ଓ ଡାହାଣ ପାର୍ଶ୍ୱର ୩ ଗେଟ୍ ଦେଇ ବନ୍ୟାଜଳ ନିଷ୍କାସନ ହେଉଛି।

The Hirakud reservoir water level is rising due to continuous heavy rainfall, prompting authorities to open three more gates of the dam. Seven gates had already been opened earlier, and three additional gates were opened today as the water level continued to increase. Floodwater is now being released through a total of 10 gates, including seven gates on the left side and three on the right side of the dam.
