ISRO Launches ‘Naughty Boy’: EOS-05 to Keep a Close Watch on Enemy Activities

ମହାକାଶକୁ ଇସ୍ରୋ ପଠାଇଲା ‘ନଟି ବୟ’। ଶତ୍ରୁର ଗତିବିଧି ଉପରେ ରଖିବ କଡ଼ା ନଜର। ଇସ୍ରୋ ‘ନଟି ବୟ’ ନାମରେ ପରିଚିତ ଉପଗ୍ରହକୁ ମହାକାଶକୁ ପଠାଇଛି। ଏହି ଉପଗ୍ରହ ମହାକାଶରୁ ଦେଶ ଉପରେ ନଜର ରଖିବା ସହ ଶତ୍ରୁପକ୍ଷର ଗତିବିଧି ଉପରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ନଜର ରଖିପାରିବ। ଏହା ସହ ଘୂର୍ଣ୍ଣିଝଡ଼, ବନ୍ୟା ଭଳି ପ୍ରାକୃତିକ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟ ସମୟରେ ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ ଓ ଉଦ୍ଧାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟରେ ମଧ୍ୟ ସହାୟତା କରିବ। ଇସ୍ରୋ GSLV-F17 ରକେଟ୍ ଯୋଗେ EOS-05 ଉପଗ୍ରହକୁ ସଫଳତାର ସହ ମହାକାଶକୁ ପଠାଇଛି।

ISRO has successfully launched the EOS-05 satellite, popularly described in the source as ‘Naughty Boy’, using the GSLV-F17 rocket. The satellite will monitor India from space and keep a close watch on enemy activities. It will also assist in monitoring and rescue operations during natural disasters such as cyclones and floods. Positioned at an altitude of around 36,000 kilometres from Earth, EOS-05 will capture images of India every 30 minutes, strengthening the country’s continuous Earth observation capability. The satellite is also expected to support monitoring related to weather and other applications.
