Floodwaters have entered several villages in Aul block of Kendrapara district after the Kharasrota, Brahmani and Baitarani rivers swelled. Water has entered hundreds of homes, while knee-deep floodwater is flowing through village streets, leaving residents in distress.

With water entering houses, affected families are facing severe difficulties in their daily lives. The flooding has also affected household belongings and normal movement in the villages.
