A major twist has emerged over the Andhra Pradesh elections in Kotia, Koraput district. Following a meeting with both candidates, villagers have reportedly decided to follow the selection process instead of a contest, as in previous years. The YSRCP candidate is set to withdraw the nomination and support the TDP candidate, who will remain in the fray. Villagers have also decided that no one from Kotia should travel to Andhra Pradesh to cast their vote. The development comes amid the ongoing dispute over Andhra Pradesh's election process in the Kotia region.
