EPFO members can now access several Provident Fund services through WhatsApp. Union Labour Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has launched the new facility, allowing subscribers to check their PF balance, access passbook details and view their last five transactions. The service has been introduced under the PMVBRY scheme. Members can also submit claims for inactive accounts with balances of up to ₹1,000 through WhatsApp, eliminating the need to visit EPFO offices for these services. The facilities were launched in New Delhi during the celebration of EPFO's 74th Foundation Day.
