A low-pressure area is likely to form by the evening of September 19. According to weather expert Manorama Mohanty, the system is expected to intensify and move west-northwestwards, bringing heavy to very heavy rainfall to south Odisha between September 22 and 24. The weather system and its likely movement may lead to a significant spell of rain over the region.
