A cyclonic circulation over the Gulf of Thailand and adjoining areas is likely to move into the Andaman Sea region soon, leading to the formation of a low-pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal around October 13. However, unfavourable atmospheric and oceanic conditions are expected to prevent the system from intensifying further. Odisha is likely to experience cloudy weather on October 13 and 14, while coastal districts may receive light to moderate rainfall from October 16 to 19. Residents are advised to follow official weather updates for the latest forecasts.
