Continuous rain has caused waterlogging in several parts of Malkangiri district. Around three feet of water is flowing over the Kankarkonda bridge on NH-326 and the Kanyashram bridge on the Kalimela-Padia road, bringing traffic on NH-326 to a complete halt. Vehicle movement between Malkangiri-Kalimela and Kalimela-Padia has also been disrupted, while water levels in several rivers and streams continue to rise.
