ନନ୍ଦନକାନନରେ ବାଘର ଲାଇଭ୍ ହରିଣ ଶିକାର। ଜୀଅନ୍ତା ହରିଣକୁ ଖାଇଲା ବାଘ। ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକଙ୍କ ଆଖି ସାମ୍ନାରେ ଶିକାର କଲା ବାଘ। ବାଘ ସଫାରୀ ଭିତରେ ବାଘ ଏକ ଜୀଅନ୍ତା ହରିଣ ଖାଇବାର ଦୃଶ୍ୟକୁ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟଟକମାନେ କ୍ୟାମେରାରେ ଉତ୍ତୋଳିତ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଗତ ୮ ତାରିଖରେ ଏଭଳି ଘଟଣା ଘଟିଛି। ତେବେ ଚିଡ଼ିଆଖାନାରେ ବାଘଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଶିକାର ଅନୁମତି ନାହିଁ ଏବଂ CZA ନିୟମ ଅନୁସାରେ ଖାଦ୍ୟ-ଖାଦକ ଗୋଟିଏ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ରହିବେ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ ବାଘ ଏଠାରେ କେମିତି ଶିକାର କଲା ବାଘ ତାକୁ ନେଇ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉଠିଥିବା ବେଳେ ଏ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟୀକରଣ ରଖିଛନ୍ତି ନନ୍ଦନକାନନ ପ୍ରାଣୀ ଉଦ୍ୟାନର ଉପନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶକ।

A tiger was reportedly seen hunting and eating a live deer inside the tiger safari at Nandankanan on August 8. Tourists captured the incident on camera as the tiger hunted the deer in front of visitors.
The incident raised questions as hunting is not permitted for tigers inside the zoo. The report also refers to Central Zoo Authority (CZA) rules stating that predator and prey animals should not be kept together in the same enclosure.
