Big Announcement: Special Package for Flood-Hit Farmers in Odisha

ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ପରେ ଗୋଟିଏ ବନ୍ୟା ଆସୁଛି। ବର୍ଷା ଓ ଲଘୁଚାପର ପୁଣି ସମ୍ଭାବନା ଅଛି। ବନ୍ୟା ବି ହେଉଛି। ଗତ ୧୫ ଦିନ ଭିତରେ ୨୪ଟି ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ୧୫୪ଟି ବ୍ଲକର ୮୭୯ ଗୋଟି ଗ୍ରାମ ପଞ୍ଚାୟତ ଏବଂ ୨୮୫୫ ଟି ଗାଁ ବନ୍ୟା ଯୋଗୁ କ୍ଷତିଗ୍ରସ୍ଥ ହୋଇଛି।110 କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଜିଲ୍ଲାକୁ ଦିଆଯାଇଥିଲା। ଆହୁରି 26 କୋଟି ଟଙ୍କା ଅଧିକ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ଦିଆଯାଇଛି। କିଛି ଜିଲ୍ଲାରେ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାଙ୍ଗ ରିପୋର୍ଟ ଆସିଲାଣି। କୃଷି ବିଭାଗର କ୍ଷୟକ୍ଷତି ଏବଂ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ନେଇ ଆଜି କ୍ୟାବିନେଟ୍ ଆଜି ଆଲୋଚନା ହେବ। ଚାଷୀଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ୱଳ୍ପ ମିଆଦି ଧାନ ବିହନ ଯୋଗାଇ ଦିଆଯିବ। ସେହିପରି ପନିପରିବା ଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅଧିକ ସାହାଯ୍ୟ ଦିଆଯିବ। କୃଷି, ସମବାୟ, ପଶୁସମ୍ପଦ ବିଭାଗ ଦ୍ୱାରା ସ୍ୱତନ୍ତ୍ର ପ୍ୟାକେଜ ଦିଆଯିବ ବୋଲି କହିଛନ୍ତି ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଓ ବିପର୍ଯ୍ୟୟ ପରିଚାଳନା ବିଭାଗ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୁରେଶ ପୂଜାରୀ।

Odisha is witnessing repeated flooding, with 24 districts, 154 blocks, 879 Gram Panchayats and 2,855 villages affected by floods over the past 15 days. The government has already released ₹110 crore to different districts and provided an additional ₹26 crore in assistance. Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari said the State Cabinet will discuss agricultural losses and relief measures, including a special package for farmers through the Agriculture, Cooperation and Animal Resources Development departments. Farmers will also be provided short-duration paddy seeds, while additional assistance will be extended to vegetable growers.
