ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗରେ ବଡ଼ ଓଲଟପାଲଟ । ଦିଦିଙ୍କୁ ଝଟକା ପରେ ଝଟକା । ଦଳ ଗଲା, ଚିହ୍ନ ଗଲା, ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ବି ମଇଦାନ ଛାଡ଼ିଦେଲେ। ଶେଷରେ କଂଗ୍ରେସକୁ ସମର୍ଥନ କଲେ ପୂର୍ବତନ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମମତା ବାନାର୍ଜୀ । ସମର୍ଥନ କରୁ କରୁ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ମଧ୍ୟ ବନ୍ଧାହେଲେ । ନାଟକୀୟ ମୋଡ଼ ନେଇଛି ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗ ରାଜନୀତି। ମମତା ବାନାର୍ଜୀଙ୍କ ନନ୍ଦୀଗ୍ରାମ ଉପ-ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ସଞ୍ଚିତା ପ୍ରଧାନ ଦେ ନିଜର ପ୍ରାର୍ଥିପତ୍ର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର କରିନେଇଛନ୍ତି। ପଶ୍ଚିମବଙ୍ଗର ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଶୁଭେନ୍ଦୁ ଅଧିକାରୀଙ୍କୁ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାର ମାତ୍ର କିଛି ଘଣ୍ଟା ପରେ ସେ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥିପତ୍ର ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର କରି ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଚକିତ କରିଦେଇଛନ୍ତି । ସଞ୍ଚିତାଙ୍କ ଆକସ୍ମିକ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାହାର ପରେ ମମତା ବାନାର୍ଜୀଙ୍କ ଦଳ ଏବେ ହାଇ-ପ୍ରୋଫାଇଲ ନନ୍ଦୀଗ୍ରାମ ଆସନରେ କୌଣସି ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ନଥାଇ ନିଶ୍ଚିହ୍ନ ହୋଇଯାଇଛି। ନିର୍ବାଚନ କମିଶନଙ୍କ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ପ୍ରତିଶୋଧମୂଳକ ଓ କଳା ଦିବସ ବୋଲି କହିବା ସହିତ କଂଗ୍ରେସ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ ମିଲନ ପ୍ରଧାନଙ୍କୁ ସମର୍ଥନ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଛନ୍ତି ଦିଦି । ଏପଟେ ମମତାଙ୍କ ସମର୍ଥନ ଘୋଷଣା ପରେ ପରେ ଗିରଫ ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି କଂଗ୍ରେସ ପ୍ରାର୍ଥୀ। ଏକ ପୁରୁଣା ହତ୍ୟା ମାମଲାରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଗିରଫ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ଦିଦିଙ୍କ ହାତରୁ ଦଳ ଓ ଦଳୀୟ ଚିହ୍ନ ବି ଏକପ୍ରକାରର ଚାଲିଯାଇଛି । ତୃଣମୂଳ କଂଗ୍ରେସର ପାରମ୍ପରିକ "ଘାସ-ଫୁଲ" ଚିହ୍ନ ଏବଂ "ଅଲ୍ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ ତୃଣମୂଳ କଂଗ୍ରେସ" ନାମକୁ ନିର୍ବାଚନ କମିଶନ ଫ୍ରିଜ୍ କରିବା ପରେ ଦିଦିଙ୍କୁ ମିଳିଛି ନୂଆ ନାଁ ଓ ସିମ୍ବଲ୍ । ଉପ-ନିର୍ବାଚନ ପାଇଁ ମମତାଙ୍କ ଶିବିରକୁ "ମମତା ଅଲ୍ ଇଣ୍ଡିଆ ତୃଣମୂଳ କଂଗ୍ରେସ" ନାମ ଏବଂ "ଫୁଟବଲ ଖେଳାଳି" ଚିହ୍ନ ମିଳିଛି। ଅପରପକ୍ଷରେ, ବିଦ୍ରୋହୀ ଅରୂପ ରାୟଙ୍କ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀକୁ "ଡେମୋକ୍ରାଟିକ ତୃଣମୂଳ କଂଗ୍ରେସ" ନାମ ସହ "ଲଫାପା" ଚିହ୍ନ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଆସନ୍ତା ଅକ୍ଟୋବର ୬ ତାରିଖରେ ନନ୍ଦୀଗ୍ରାମ ଆସନ ପାଇଁ ଉପ-ନିର୍ବାଚନ ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହେବ।

West Bengal’s Nandigram Assembly bypoll has taken a major turn after Mamata Banerjee faction candidate Sanchita Pradhan Dey withdrew her nomination on September 18, hours after meeting Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. Mamata Banerjee subsequently announced support for Congress candidate Milan Pradhan in Nandigram, saying the move was aimed at strengthening the INDIA bloc. Hours later, Milan Pradhan was arrested in connection with an old case, according to reports. The developments came on the same day the Election Commission allotted the Mamata faction the name ‘Mamata All India Trinamool Congress’ and the ‘Football Player’ symbol, while the rival faction received the name ‘Democratic Trinamool Congress’ and the ‘Envelope’ symbol. The Nandigram bypoll is scheduled for October 6.
