କୋଟିଆକୁ ନେଇ ପୁଣି ତେଜିଲା ରାଜନୀତି। କୋଟିଆରେ ଆନ୍ଧ୍ରପ୍ରଦେଶ ନିର୍ବାଚନ କରାଇବାକୁ ଘୋଷଣା କରିଥିବା ଘଟଣାକୁ ନେଇ ଉଦବେଗ ପ୍ରକାଶ କଲେ ବିରୋଧୀ ଦଳ ନେତା ନବୀନ ପଟ୍ଟନାୟକ। ଏନେଇ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ମୋହନ ଚରଣ ମାଝୀଙ୍କୁ ଚିଠି ଲେଖି ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ନୀରବତା ଉପରେ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉଠାଇଛନ୍ତି ନବୀନ। ଚିଠିରେ ନବୀନ କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଅତୀତରେ ବିଜେପି ନେତାମାନେ କୋଟିଆ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ବୋଲି ଦାବି କରିବା ସହ ‘ଆନ୍ଧ୍ର ଫେରିଯାଅ’ ସ୍ଲୋଗାନ ଦେଇଥିଲେ।
The political row over Kotia has intensified after Andhra Pradesh announced plans to conduct elections in the disputed region. Leader of Opposition Naveen Patnaik expressed concern and wrote to Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, questioning the state government’s silence on the issue. In his letter, Naveen pointed out that BJP leaders had earlier asserted that Kotia belongs to Odisha and raised the slogan “Andhra, go back”. The latest development has reignited the political debate over Kotia.
