A new rank-based system may replace the percentile-based system in NEET-PG from 2027. The Central Government has informed the Supreme Court about the proposal. A 12-member expert committee, formed to improve transparency in medical entrance examinations, submitted its report to the Supreme Court on November 3. The National Medical Commission has also given preliminary approval to the proposal.
