Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended his greetings to the people of the state on the occasion of Nuakhai, describing the agricultural festival as a reflection of Odisha’s soil, culture, traditions and social unity. In his message, he called for setting aside differences and bitterness, respecting elders and strengthening bonds of family, society and brotherhood. The Chief Minister also urged students, youth, workers, farmers and jawans to perform their duties towards building a prosperous Odisha by 2036 and a developed India by 2047. He prayed to Maa Samalei for happiness, peace, progress and success in everyone’s life, and concluded with the traditional greeting, “Nuakhai Juhar.”
