ପରଦାରେ ମୁକ୍ତିଲାଭ କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଛି ଫିଲ୍ମ ‘ଦଣ୍ଡକାଳୀ’। ଗଞ୍ଜାମର ଲୋକକଳା ତଥା ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ଦଣ୍ଡ ନାଚକୁ ନେଇ ଦଣ୍ଡକାଳୀ ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ର ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କରାଯାଇଛି। ଯାହାକୁ ସୁଧାଂଶୁ ସାହୁ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶନା ଦେଇଥିବା ବେଳେ ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧ ତାରକା ମହେଶ୍ୱତା ରାୟ, ସିଦ୍ଧାନ୍ତ ମହାପାତ୍ର ପ୍ରମୁଖ ଅଭିନୟ କରିଛନ୍ତି । ତେବେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମପୁରରେ ଏହାର ଟ୍ରେଲର ରିଲିଜ ହୋଇଛି। ଆସନ୍ତା ଗଣେଶ ପୂଜାରେ ଫିଲ୍ମ ମୁକ୍ତିଲାଭ କରିବ। ଚଳଚ୍ଚିତ୍ରଟି ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ ଭାବେ ଗଞ୍ଜାମ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ଦଣ୍ଡ ନାଚକୁ ନେଇ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ହୋଇଛି। ଫିଲ୍ମର ସୁଟିଂ ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବିଭିନ୍ନ ସ୍ଥାନରେ ହୋଇଛି।

The Odia film ‘Dandakaali’ is set to hit the big screen, based entirely on Ganjam’s traditional folk art and Danda Nach. Directed by Sudhanshu Sahu, the film features noted actors Maheswata Ray, Siddhant Mahapatra and others. Its trailer was released in Berhampur. The film is scheduled to release during Ganesh Puja. Shot at various locations across Ganjam district, ‘Dandakaali’ brings the district’s traditional Danda Nach to the big screen.
