An eye doctor was stopped by protesters while passing through Master Canteen Square. An argument between the doctor and the protesters continued for around half an hour during the incident. The protesters questioned the person, saying, “Are you a doctor or something else? Show us your identity card.” The incident took place amid the bandh, with protesters demanding proof of the doctor’s identity.
