Preparations for Odisha’s panchayat and municipal elections have begun. The State Election Commission has announced a door-to-door survey from October 26 to November 7 to prepare a clean, fair and error-free voter list. People whose names were deleted during the SIR process can apply for inclusion by submitting the required documents. There will also be a provision to request the deletion of names. The draft voter list is scheduled to be published in January.
