A low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal around October 13 as a cyclonic circulation over the Gulf of Thailand and adjoining areas moves towards the Andaman Sea. The system is not expected to intensify and is likely to remain a low-pressure area. Odisha may experience cloudy weather on October 13 and 14, while coastal areas are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall from October 16 to 19.
