Orangutan DNA Test Today: Samples to Reveal Age, Species and Whether 5 Cubs Share the Same Mother

ଆଜି ହେବ ଓରାଙ୍ଗଉଟାନଙ୍କ DNA ଟେଷ୍ଟ। ଭୋଗରାଇରୁ ଉଦ୍ଧାର ହୋଇଥିବ ୫ ଓରାଙ୍ଗଉଟାନଙ୍କର ରକ୍ତ ନମୁନା, ଡିଏନଏ ନମୁନା ସଂଗ୍ରହ ହେବ। ଓୟୁଏଟି ଅଧୀନରେ ଥିବା ସେଣ୍ଟର ଫର ୱାଇଲ୍ଡ ଲାଇଫ ହେଲ୍ଥ କମିଟିର ପରାମର୍ଶରେ ଟେଷ୍ଟ କରାଯିବ। ନମୁନା ସଂଗ୍ରହ କରାଯାଇ ଲ୍ୟାବକୁ ପଠାଯିବ। ଓରାଙ୍ଗଉଟାନଙ୍କ ଦେହରେ କିଛି ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ଅଛି ନା ନାହିଁ, ସେମାନେ ଗୋଟିଏ ମା'ର ଛୁଆ କି ନୁହେଁ, ସେମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରକୃତ ବୟସ ଏବଂ କେଉଁ ପ୍ରଜାତିର ଜଣାପଡିବ। ଓରାଙ୍ଗଉଟାନ ଦେହରେ କୃମି ଥିବା ଜଣାପଡ଼ିଛି।

DNA and blood samples of the five orangutan cubs rescued from Bhograi in Balasore will be collected today. The tests will be conducted based on the advice of the Centre for Wildlife Health under OUAT, with the samples to be sent to a laboratory for analysis.
