The investigation into the seizure of five orangutans from Bhograi in Balasore has intensified. The Forest Department’s DFO and a two-member STF team, including an ADSP and an Inspector, have reached Bichitrapur forest.

The team is probing where the orangutans were brought from and who is linked to the suspected wildlife trafficking network. Investigators are conducting a detailed search in the forest and focusing on tracing the case to its source.
