Police in Uniform Barred From Posting Photos, Videos on Social Media; Action Will be Taken

ବର୍ଦ୍ଦିରେ ରହି ସୋସିଆଲ୍ ମିଡିଆରେ ଫଟୋ, ଭିଡିଓ ପୋଷ୍ଟ ମନା। ସମ୍ବେଦନଶୀଳ ସ୍ଥାନଗୁଡ଼ିକରେ ଡ୍ୟୁଟି କରୁଥିବା ପୋଲିସ ଅଫିସର୍ କରିପାରିବେ ନାହିଁ ଫଟୋ କି ଭିଡିଓ ପୋଷ୍ଟ। ଡ୍ୟୁଟି ସମୟରେ ରିଲ୍ସ କଲେ ହେବ ଆକ୍ସନ। ଡ୍ୟୁଟିରେ ଥିବା ବେଳେ ମୋବାଇଲ୍ କାଢି ନିଜ ପାଇଁ ଫଟୋ କିମ୍ବା ଭିଡିଓ ନେଲେ କଡ଼ା କାର୍ଯ୍ୟାନୁଷ୍ଠାନ ନିଆଯିବ ବୋଲି କଡ଼ା ଚେତାବନୀ ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି ପୋଲିସ କମିଶନର।
Police officers and personnel on duty at sensitive locations have been warned against posting photos or videos on social media while in uniform. Taking selfies, recording videos or making reels during duty hours may invite disciplinary action.
The directive comes after instances of police personnel sharing videos related to their duty, deployment and workplaces on social media and other public platforms.
