Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida has strongly responded to former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s letter on the Kotia issue. In a post on X, she questioned Naveen’s alleged silence on Odisha’s rights over Kotia during his 24-year tenure in power, including nine years when his party was part of the NDA alliance. Pravati said Naveen has raised the issue only after losing power. She added that the BJP government, under Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, is continuing its fight to protect Odisha’s interests and rights in Kotia. She also said the people of Odisha are seeking answers from Naveen over his silence during his long tenure.
