Puri Residents Demand Special Darshan Facility at Shree Mandir

ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରରେ ଶ୍ରୀଜିଉଙ୍କ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ଦର୍ଶନ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ଦାବିରେ ଅଡ଼ିବସିଛନ୍ତି ପୁରୀ ସହର ବାସିନ୍ଦା। ଏ ସମ୍ପର୍କରେ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରି ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ପ୍ରଶାସନ, ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନ ଏବଂ ପୋଲିସ ପ୍ରଶାସନଙ୍କୁ ଅବଗତ କରାଯାଇଥିଲେ ବି କିଛି ଫଳ ମିଳୁନଥିବା ଅଭିଯୋଗ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ତେଣୁ ଗତ ୧୬୨ ଦିନ ଧରି ଧାରଣା ,ଶୋଭାଯାତ୍ରା ଜାରି ରଖିଛନ୍ତି। ଏଭଳି ଅବସ୍ଥାରେ ପ୍ରଥମେ ପୁରୀ ବାସୀଙ୍କୁ ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିରକୁ ଛଡାଯାଇ ପରେ ସରକାର ବାୟୋମେଟ୍ରିକ୍ସ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନିଅନ୍ତୁ ବୋଲି ଦାବି କରିଛନ୍ତି ପୁରୀ ସହର ବାସୀ। ତେବେ ଆଇନ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି, ସହରବାସୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଏକ ଟେକ୍ନୋଲୋଜି ମଡେଲ କରାଯାଉଛି। ବାୟୋମେଟ୍ରିକ୍ସ ବ୍ୟବସ୍ଥା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଉତ୍ତର ଦ୍ୱାର ଦେଇ ଭକ୍ତ, ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଳୁମାନେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ। ଶ୍ରୀମନ୍ଦିର ପ୍ରଶାସନ ଓ ଜିଲ୍ଲା ପ୍ରଶାସନ, ପୋଲିସ ପ୍ରଶାସନ ସହ ଆଲୋଚନା କରାଯାଇ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ନିଆଯିବ ।

Puri city residents have been demanding a special darshan facility for Lord Jagannath and other deities at Shree Mandir. They allege that despite informing the state government, Shree Mandir administration, district administration and police administration, no solution has been found. Residents have continued their sit-in and rallies for the past 162 days, demanding that Puri residents be allowed entry first and that a biometric system be introduced later. Law Minister said a technology-based model is being developed for city residents, under which devotees will enter through the North Gate using a biometric system, with further steps to be taken after discussions with the Shree Mandir, district and police administrations.
