Rajya Sabha Election: BJD Moves High Court, Challenges Speaker’s Decision

#ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା_ନିର୍ବାଚନ #ହାଇକୋର୍ଟ_ଗଲା_ବିଜେଡି
ବାଚସ୍ପତିଙ୍କୁ ପକ୍ଷଭୁକ୍ତ କରି ବିଜେଡି ରିଟ ପିଟିସନ (ସିଭିଲ) ଦାଖଲ କରିଛି । ରାଜ୍ୟସଭା ନିର୍ବାଚନରେ ୮ ସଦସ୍ୟ ଦଳର ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ବିରୋଧରେ ଭୋଟ ଦେଇଥିଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସଦସ୍ୟତା ରଦ୍ଦ ପାଇଁ ପୂର୍ବରୁ ବାଚସ୍ପତିଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ଦଳ ପିଟିସନ ଦାଖଲ କରିଥିଲା । ହେଲେ, ଟେକ୍ନିକାଲ ଗ୍ରାଉଣ୍ଡରେ ବାଚସ୍ପତି ପିଟିସନକୁ ଖାରଜ କରିଥିଲେ । ବାଚସ୍ପତିଙ୍କ ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତିକୁ ଚ୍ୟାଲେଞ୍ଜ କରି ହାଇକୋର୍ଟରେ ବିଜେଡି ପିଟିସନ ଦାଖଲ କରିଛି ।

The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has moved the High Court challenging the Speaker’s decision in connection with the Rajya Sabha election. BJD has filed a writ petition (Civil), making the Speaker a party to the case. The party had earlier sought disqualification of eight members after they voted against the party’s decision in the Rajya Sabha election. However, the Speaker rejected the petition on technical grounds. BJD has now challenged the Speaker’s decision before the High Court.
