Ravenshaw Teachers’ Association Splits; New Teachers’ Council Formed

ରେଭେନ୍ସା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟରେ ଏବେ ଅଧ୍ୟାପକ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ବଡ଼ ଫାଟ ସାମ୍ନାକୁ ଆସିଛି । ରେଭେନ୍ସା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ସଙ୍ଘରୁ ଅଲଗା ହୋଇଛନ୍ତି କିଛି ଶିକ୍ଷକ । ସେମାନେ ଅଲଗା ହୋଇ 'ରେଭେନ୍ସା ବିଶ୍ୱବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ପରିଷଦ' ନାମରେ ଏକ ନୂଆ ସଂଗଠନ ଗଠନ କରିବା ପରେ ଦୁଇ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି ଆରୋପ-ପ୍ରତ୍ୟାରୋପ । ରୁଟା ସହ ବିଚାରଧାରା ଖାପ ନଖାଇବାରୁ ଏବଂ ନିଜର ଚିନ୍ତାଧାରା ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିବାରେ ବାଧା ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବାରୁ ନୂଆ ସଂଘ ଗଢ଼ାଯାଇଛି ବୋଲି RVSP ମିଡ଼ିଆ ସଂଯୋଜକ ପ୍ରଫେସର୍ ବିକ୍ରମ କିଶୋର ମିଶ୍ର କହିଛନ୍ତି । ଅନ୍ୟପଟେ ନୂତନ ସଂଗଠନର ଆବିର୍ଭାବକୁ ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଏକତା ଭାଙ୍ଗିବାର ଏକ 'ଦୁର୍ଭାଗ୍ୟଜନକ ଷଡ଼ଯନ୍ତ୍ର' ବୋଲି କହିଛି ରୁଟା ।

A major division has emerged among the teaching fraternity at Ravenshaw University, with a section of teachers breaking away from the Ravenshaw University Teachers’ Association (RUTA) to form a new organisation called the Ravenshaw University Teachers’ Council (RVSP). The development has triggered allegations and counter-allegations between the two groups. RVSP media coordinator Professor Bikram Kishore Mishra said the new organisation was formed due to ideological differences with RUTA and alleged difficulties in expressing their views. On the other hand, RUTA has termed the emergence of the new organisation an “unfortunate conspiracy” aimed at breaking teachers’ unity. The development has brought differences within the university’s teaching community into focus.
