A sub-adult Royal Bengal Tiger was rescued from inside a house at Khaparkhai village under the Thakurmunda Forest Range in Odisha. A special team of forest officials safely rescued the tiger after villagers alerted the Forest Department. The animal had reportedly been moving around the area for the past few days. Khaparkhai is part of the Similipal landscape, and the rescue operation was carried out by the forest team.
