A bizarre snakebite incident has been reported from Jenasahi in Balimed village under Basudevpur block of Bhadrak district. According to the source, Bijay Jena was walking on the road with his friends in the evening when a poisonous snake bit him. In an unusual turn of events, Bijay did not leave the snake behind. Instead, he reportedly put the snake inside a container and took it along with him to the hospital after being bitten. The incident has drawn attention due to the unusual manner in which the young man responded to the snakebite.
