Cuttack-Barabati MLA Sofia Firdous will contest the upcoming Assembly election from the Odisha Janata Congress (OJC), instead of the Congress, according to a statement by OJC president and her father, Mohammad Moquim. Moquim said Sofia will seek election to the Assembly on an OJC ticket in the next Assembly polls.
