Cyclone concerns are growing as a fresh low-pressure system may form over the Bay of Bengal around October 23. Weather experts Sarat Chandra Sahu and Surendranath Pashupalak say it could intensify into a cyclone, potentially by October 28. However, its strength, track and landfall location remain uncertain, and the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has not issued a cyclone warning.

According to the forecast discussed in the report, a cyclonic circulation may enter the North Andaman Sea before developing into a low-pressure area and intensifying over the following days. Some international weather models suggest the system could approach the coast around October 27–28, with Andhra Pradesh and Odisha among the areas being monitored.

Meanwhile, another low-pressure system near the Tamil Nadu coast may move across Tamil Nadu and Kerala before potentially reaching the Arabian Sea around October 24. The forecast remains subject to change as the systems develop.
