A severe flood has affected Koraput’s Kotpad, with over 10 panchayats waterlogged and around 60 villages reportedly affected. Floodwater from the Anicut near Bhaluguda and Bijepur, along with water from the Indravati Dam, has entered homes. Affected residents have alleged that the administration failed in managing Indravati Dam water, raising questions over whether the scale of the flooding could have been prevented.
